Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. Your leadership will inspire young learners, support their developmental milestones, and foster a love of learning from an early age. Duties

• Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth tailored to toddlers’ developmental stages.
• Lead classroom activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and active learning while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and engaging in age-appropriate play to support toddler care needs.
• Utilize behavior management strategies to guide positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency.
• Collaborate with families through regular communication about children’s progress, milestones, and any special education or early intervention needs.
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality classroom management and instructional delivery.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning.
• Incorporate Montessori principles or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when suitable.
• Maintain compliance with childcare regulations, health standards, and safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Proven classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings, specifically with toddlers aged 1-3 years old.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development focused on early childhood education principles such as childhood development, literacy education, and math fundamentals.
• Experience with special education strategies or early intervention programs is highly desirable.
• Background in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and foster a nurturing environment.
• Prior daycare or preschool experience within private school settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of teaching physical education activities suitable for toddlers to promote motor skills development.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, colleagues, and community partners. Pay: From $18.50 per hour
