Toddler teacher needed for comprehensive, multi-disciplinary Early Head Start program working with children ages 18-36 months. Minimum qualifications include an Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential and 2 years caring for children; or a minimum Associates degree in Early Childhood or a related field with a focus on infant and toddler development (focused training provided) and 1 year of experience related to caring for infants and toddlers; or a Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) with a focus on infant and toddler development (focused training provided) and 1 year of experience related to caring for infants and toddlers. Job Responsibilities Include:
- Works directly with children ages 18-36 months, supervising their individual and group learning, indoor and outdoor play activities, science and math, music and art, gross and fine motor, and hygiene and nutrition programs.
- Works with a teaching team to design an educationally comprehensive program to meet the individual needs of children.
- Completes developmental and social-emotional screenings on children.
- Adheres to and enforces all Head Start Standards, NYS OCFS Regulations, and EOP Policies and Procedures
- Valid driver's license required
