Jet Sweep Inc. is a growing commercial cleaning company specializing in restaurants, bars, and commercial properties throughout New York City. We are looking for reliable, hardworking Porters to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of restaurants, bars, and commercial spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and common areas
- Empty trash and replace garbage bags
- Wipe down tables, counters, equipment, and other surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the assigned location
- Assist with deep-cleaning projects when needed
- Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low
- Follow company cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
- Communicate with management regarding any issues at the location
- Arrive on time and complete assigned tasks efficiently
Requirements
- Previous commercial, restaurant, hotel, or janitorial cleaning experience is a plus
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working for extended periods
- Must be able to follow instructions
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients and coworkers
