High Tech Thin Film Coating Technician

Jet Process Corporation has a unique process that executes key fabrication steps in the manufacture of these devices, particularly for photonic and advanced packaging applications.

We have an immediate need for a high energy and detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic and adaptability. He/she will be part of a team that operates and maintains vacuum coating systems for a rapidly expanding production job and other developmental work. The job involves working with a small team to maintain mechanical assemblies, procuring or building integrated parts, as well as testing and modifying digital and analog electronics as necessary.

Skills to introduce innovations to future processes and equipment will make a valuable contribution to the growth of the technology and to company capabilities.

Ideal candidate has:

• Manual dexterity for loading and unloading of small delicate parts.
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, and an intuitive ability to troubleshoot problems and provide robust solutions.
• A broad practical understanding of the technologies used in electromechanical production systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.

The following are a big PLUS:

• Background in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics, electrical, and/or machine design and fabrication.
• Hands on industrial fabrication or manufacturing experience.
• Vacuum experience.
• Programming, controls design and CAD drawing experience.
• Willingness to adhere to strict timeline based on customer driven demands.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
