House Cleaner

Job Summary

Duties

• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
• Use cleaning detergents and supplies safely and effectively to maintain cleanliness standards
• Manage manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy furniture or moving supplies during cleaning routines
• Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and preferences
• Utilize various cleaning equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Manage time effectively to complete scheduled tasks within designated timeframes

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation standards
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude towards clients’ homes
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for outdoor area maintenance responsibilities
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and chemicals, ensuring safe usage practices
• Previous hotel or commercial cleaning experience is advantageous but not required
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration

Pay: $23.45 - $35.00 per hour
