Duties

• Prepare and assemble food orders with precision, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
• Support food handling procedures, ensuring proper sanitation and safe food preparation practices in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy morning shifts
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in a restaurant, café, retail grocery store, or food industry setting is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or cleaning workstations

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
