We are looking for people with morning AND daytime availability. Example of shift times:

8:00 am to 2 pm AND 11:00 am to 4:00 (This is not either or, job requires both shifts)

2. Must be 18 years old. Must be able to work mornings/during the day. Weekdays and some weekends.

3. Must have reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

· Crew Members will greet customers, record orders, and serve food and beverages with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions about the menu.

· Input orders into a point-of-sale system and accept payment using a credit card reader or cash register, calculating change accurately and quickly as required.

· Crew Members will work together with the line team to prepare cold and hot subs to customer specifications, while following cooking instructions, safety procedures, and sanitary requirements.

· Use specific kitchen machinery such as knives, grills, slicers(18 years old), etc.

· Crew Members will ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing and wiping tables, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils, and servicing restrooms.

· Communicate effectively with team members and management to create work schedules, train new employees, and resolve any interpersonal issues as needed.

· Crew Members handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to Jersey Mike's standards and policy.

· Maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing required uniform and adhering to a corporate dress code.

· $13.00 – $14.00/hr – Wages including TIPS

Summary

As a Crew Member, you will be an essential part of our fast-paced restaurant environment, responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring a smooth operation. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, your core skills in POS systems, cash handling, and food service will be vital in taking orders and managing transactions. You will also utilize your premium skills in food preparation and time management to assist in food handling and maintain cleanliness. Your ability to upsell menu items will enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales, making you a key contributor to our team’s success.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
