Responsibilities:
- Assist with opening and/or closing the store
- Lead shift operations including food prep, slicing, grilling, and customer service
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance
- Maintain product quality and order accuracy during peak hours
- Manage cash handling, deposits, and shift paperwork
- Train and coach team members on Jersey Mike’s procedures and standards
- Help with scheduling and staffing needs
- Resolve customer issues professionally and maintain strong guest relationships
- Perform inventory counts, ordering, and waste control
- Support hiring efforts and participate in interviews
- Maintain a positive, energetic, team-focused environment
- 1 years of supervisor or leadership experience (food service preferred but not required)
- Ability to lead a team of 20–25 employees
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm during rushes
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Weekend and holiday availability required
