VP, Value Assurance

The Vice President of Value Assurance will play a critical leadership role within Jeppesen ForeFlight, reporting to the Chief Customer Officer. This role is responsible for leading and scaling the Consulting, Aviation Research, and Data Science functions to deliver measurable customer value and strengthen Jeppesen ForeFlight’s position as a trusted strategic partner to aviation customers globally.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of airline operations, including airline performance drivers, operational planning, network efficiency, and day-to-day operational decision-making. This expertise will be essential in ensuring consulting engagements, research insights, and analytical outputs are grounded in real-world airline operations and translate into meaningful, actionable outcomes for customers.

The VP will drive execution of strategy, oversee delivery excellence, and ensure insights from consulting, research, and analytics inform customer outcomes, product direction, and business growth. This role requires deep aviation domain knowledge, strong people leadership, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success  to support Jeppesen ForeFlight’s operational objectives

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the strategy for the Consulting, Aviation Research, and Data Science teams in alignment with Jeppesen ForeFlight’s customer and business objectives
• Oversee the global Consulting function, ensuring high-quality delivery focused on operational optimization, change management, and effective adoption of Jeppesen ForeFlight solutions
• Guide the Aviation Research agenda to produce industry-leading insights, thought leadership, and customer-facing content that supports business development and customer engagement
• Partner with Data Science leadership to ensure advanced analytics and models generate actionable insights that drive customer value assurance and inform product innovation
• Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs that demonstrate measurable value delivered to customers across consulting engagements and analytics initiatives
• Build, develop, and retain high-performing teams across Consulting, Research, and Data Science, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer focus
• Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure insights inform product roadmaps, enhance go-to-market efforts, and support strategic growth initiatives
• Engage with Customer Success to align consulting and analytics efforts with customer adoption and value outcomes

Basic Qualifications

• 12 years of progressive experience in aviation, consulting, analytics, or a related technology-driven industry
• Experience in management consulting or advisory roles, preferably within a top-tier or aviation-focused consulting organization
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams, including consulting, research, or analytics functions
• Strong understanding of airline operations, performance metrics, and SaaS-based aviation solutions
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data, research, or technical findings into clear, actionable business insights for senior stakeholders
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging executive-level customers
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
• Experience working closely with customer-facing executive leaders (e.g., CCO, CRO, or similar roles)
• Prior thought leadership contributions, publications, or industry presentations within aviation or operational excellence domains
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
• Familiarity with Jeppesen ForeFlight products or other airline operational software platforms
• Pilot or aviation enthusiast

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $252,000-$328,000
