About the Role
We are seeking a Senior General Ledger (GL) Accountant to support our U.S. entities and play a key role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, and audit readiness. This individual will contribute to building and improving accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while partnering cross-functionally to support business initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and enjoys both executing core accounting responsibilities and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close activities for U.S. entities, including journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations
- Partner with Accounts Payable, FP&A, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues proactively
- Support monthly balance sheet reviews and provide clear variance analysis to leadership
- Maintain well-documented, audit-ready support for all accounting entries and processes
- Partner with external auditors to support audits, PBC requests, and process walkthroughs
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Support broader business initiatives by providing financial insight and accounting expertise
- Leverage ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and reconciliation tools (e.g., Blackline) to improve reporting and visibility
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, or a high-growth environment
- Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and reconciliation tools
- Experience working with external auditors and supporting audit processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Big 4 public accounting experience
- CPA or Master’s degree in Accounting
- Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth company
- Exposure to financial due diligence, M&A, or Quality of Earnings processes
Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary Pay Range: $110,000-$142,000
