Forklift Driver- TUC

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING 

The Forklift Driver  is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. Working outdoors, our forklift driver moves products in and out of the shop and safely loads delivery trucks. Our forklift operators operate larger scale forklifts. You quickly become the product expert – knowing what things are, how they’re loaded and where they go in inventory.  

Reporting to our Production Supervisor, you’ll collaborate with the yard, production, and office teams, and interact with truck drivers and vendors.  

A highlight of your day to day will include:  

• Choosing and utilizing the proper forklift, based on weight, to load, unload, transport, and stack material in appropriate areas.  

• Operating forklift in production areas in a safe manner, always abiding by the speed limits and safety policies. 

• Moving finished products and supplies from departments to yard or to trucks for loading.  

• Completing daily forklift inspections and keeping work areas organized and clean.

You’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment. You understand the controls and limitations of forklifts. Operating multiple size lifts, moving large/awkward/heavy products doesn’t scare you. You have excellent judgement with weight limitations. You don’t take shortcuts. You’re safety conscious not just for yourself, but for your team.
