GENERAL SUMMARY
PURPOSE. The purpose of this position is to provide each customer with a thoroughly satisfying shopping experience, personably communicate and solicit sales opportunities to all leads, to qualify leads, to create customer relationships, and promote the products and services of Jensen Furniture in order to develop our family of customers and increase sales. In addition this individual will be responsible for maintaining all sales materials and displays within the two showrooms as well as assisting in the customer service and follow up of current retails customers along with the cultivation and nurturing of new customer relationships.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality
§ Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data in database.
§ Responsible for utilizing professional and articulate communication skills (written and verbal).
Service
§ Ensure the timely follow up of all customer needs.
§ Ensure internal and external communication on all sales and service related issues.
§ Assist with Showroom customers as needed when available. Productivity
§ Efficient use of time management in all activities.
§ Exceed minimum daily sales call objectives.
§ Meet sales goals for specified period.
Safety
§ Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned area of responsibility.
§ Maintain proper upkeep of all company tools and equipment.

Education
Qualified Applicants must have a minimum of two years of college or equivalent experience, currently working towards a college degree, or a college degree.
Knowledge
Intermediate computer knowledge, intermediate marketing knowledge, and a broad knowledge of the work flow within retail work environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is done in two separate climate-controlled showrooms, Ability to travel between buildings and be one your feet all day are a requirement of this position.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
