What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Aide position at Jennifer Gardens Assisted Living and Memory Care?
We are looking for an energetic Housekeeping Aide with previous experience in an Assisted Living Facility or similar health care setting. The Individual in this position will be expected to clean, dust, vacuum, sanitize, empty trash containers, replace supplies, and complete related tasks as assigned. Some of the duties are listed below as an example:
Daily Tasks:
1. Dust furniture.
2. Assist residents.
3. Vacuum and clean floors.
4. Entry trash containers.
5. Mop tile and vinyl floors.
6. Complete laundry as required.
7. Change towels.
8. Clean all bathroom fixtures.
9. Sanitize toilets.
10. Do other duties as assigned.
Weekly Tasks as schedules by the Administrator:
1. Polish mirrors and glass.
2. Clean inside of resident room windows.
3. Change linen on all resident room bedding.
4. Use special sanitizer on bathroom shower stalls, sinks, and toilets.
5. Do other special tasks as assigned.
Degree of physical difficulty:
1. Work with hot water and detergents.
2. Lift/Carry moderately heavy equipment such as garbage containers, pails of water and a vacuum cleaner.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma/GED
2. Ability to intermingle with others.
3. Some work experience that demonstrates good character and stability.
4. Good physical condition, able to work on feet with moderately light equipment.
5. Training as per AHCA Regulations.
6. Must have previous experience and be able to assist residents.
7. Must be able to Pass LEVEL 2 Background Check.
Work Schedule:
The shift is from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, does include weekends.
