About the Job:
We are looking for a dynamic team player to join our growing People Operations team as a Senior Manager of People Operations. In this role, you will help drive our success by managing critical aspects of the talent acquisition process, including conducting screening interviews, preparing new hires’ onboarding, and arranging travel/onsite visits, while always keeping the candidate experience best in class. You will also have the opportunity to partner on fun projects such as expanding benefits programs, employer branding, DEIB, team bonding activities, and more. This role has many opportunities to create quick wins and make a visible impact, directly contributing to the success of the team and our organization’s growth as a whole.
Position Reports to: VP, Head of People Operations
Your Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Drive the full-cycle recruiting process for roles from entry-level up to Manager level, including job posting, interview scheduling, and offer extensions.
- Relationship Management: Take exceptional care of job applicants and hiring managers by ensuring clear communication and a seamless experience throughout the hiring journey.
- TA Strategy & Diversity: Actively recommend and execute ways to improve the Talent Acquisition process. This includes ATS optimization, implementing recruiting best practices, and leveraging diverse platforms to expand the candidate pool.
- Market Research: Conduct regular research for competitive salary benchmarking.
Onboarding & Training
- Onboarding Experience: Oversee the new hire onboarding process, ensuring it remains high-quality, up-to-date, and effectively connects new employees to the overall agency vision.
- Documentation & Training: Spearhead the updating and preservation of agency training materials and operational documents.
HR Administration, Payroll & Benefits
- Payroll Processing: Own the processing of non-exempt payroll, including training the team on accurate time-card completion.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment for health, dental, vision insurance, and commuter benefits (TransitChecks).
- Information Management: Manage secure personnel files and maintain orderly company documentation.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Naturally proactive, with outstanding attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills
- A people person, skilled at building and nurturing relationships
- Analytical researcher with a strong background in salary benchmarking and market data
- Tech-savvy operator experienced in optimizing ATS platforms and digital recruiting tools
- Detail-oriented administrator skilled in benefits administration and non-exempt payroll processing
- Trusted guardian of confidentiality committed to strict compliance and secure file management
- Ability to both balance many priorities and act resourcefully, all while maintaining a positive attitude
