Sr. Business Development Specialist, Networking

Location: Avon, Ohio

Workdays: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:30-5:30

Job Summary

The Senior Business Development Specialist, Networking is responsible for driving growth and expanding the company’s Networking wireless broadband solutions including PTP, PTMP, Switching, IIOT and cloud management solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and relationship management skills, and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, partner-focused environment. This position requires strategic thinking, market insight, and the ability to communicate and deliver key value proposition points to Jenne’s existing and new resellers, inside & outside sales teams.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conduct a minimum of 100 business development calls per week.
  • Identify and prospect new networking reseller partners.
  • Onboard, enable, and train both new and existing reseller partners.
  • Stay informed on product roadmaps and effectively communicate key updates.
  • Understand go-to-market strategies, category trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Track and report activities and KPIs using CRM and other tools.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for networking products and solutions.
  • Provide expert knowledge and support to Jenne sales teams and reseller partners.
  • Engage with key resellers through video calls, audio conferencing, and trade shows.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sales teams through regular engagement.

  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable participating in and presenting during Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings, effectively communicating performance metrics, initiatives, and strategic recommendations.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 18 months to 3 years as BDS or equivalent experience
  • Product background knowledge of telephony, networking, and unified communications a plus.
  • Must be highly motivated with a strong personal commitment to driving the success of the sales organization and achieving its goals.


Travel:

  • The role may require up to 20% travel, including occasional overnight stays for meetings or events.


Physical Requirements: (In compliance with ADA)

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of items up to 25 pounds, such as promotional materials, seed/demo equipment, trade show supplies, and booth components.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of trade show and event booths as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as required, including overnight stays.
