Duties
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage patient check-in and check-out processes using Curve Dental practice management system
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verifications.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using multi-line phone systems and maintain accurate records and appointment calendars.
- Review patient documentation and treatment plans to ensure completeness and accuracy while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in explaining treatment options, financial policies, and care plans to patients clearly and confidently.
- Collect payments, process dental billing and handle collections related to dental procedures.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow from intake through treatment completion.
Requirements
- Experience in a dental or medical front desk role with familiarity in dental terminology and clinic operations.
- Proficiency with Curve Dental software
- Knowledge of dental billing procedures and insurance verification.
- Excellent communication skills—bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills including filing, documentation review, and office management experience.
- Previous clinic or dental office experience preferred; hospital or healthcare setting experience is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and effective multi-line phone system operation.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
