Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of concession foods, including snacks, beverages, and quick-service items, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems such as Square POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, making change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the concession area, including food handling, bussing, and equipment sanitation
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick-service restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for efficient sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations within the food industry
- Experience in cashiering, upselling techniques, and retail math is a plus
- Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable for success in this role
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
