American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a General Production Swing to assist our Distribution Divisions in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Door Manufacturing & Warehouse Associate. This role involves preparing, assembling, inspecting, and packaging doors to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safe work practices.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Door Manufacturing & Warehouse Associate. This role involves preparing, assembling, inspecting, and packaging doors to ensure they meet quality standards and are ready for delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Sand, seal, and prep doors to ensure proper finish adhesion.
- Inspect doors for material or finish defects and verify quality and aesthetic standards.
- Prepare finished doors for delivery, ensuring careful handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation.
- Consistently follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate small and large machines used in door production.
- Work on door assembly lines and inspect all products for quality.
- Handle material preparation and material handling tasks.
- Stage and package finished products for delivery.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Basic math skills, including working with fractions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.
- Manual labor or warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
