What's the Job?
- Coordinate rail, truck, and barge shipments to ensure timely delivery of products in compliance with ICC regulations.
- Oversee warehouse inventory control, including cycle counts and documentation accuracy.
- Supervise and train a team of 21 hourly union employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and develop effective communication channels with sales, customers, and internal departments.
- Ensure safety, housekeeping, and operational efficiency within the shipping department.
- Two to three years of experience in shipping, delivery, and inventory management.
- Proficiency with computer systems, record-keeping, and inventory control processes.
- Knowledge of ICC regulations and shipment requirements.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple logistics activities and manage team performance.
