Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Long-Term Contract)

Location: Westchester County, NY (Onsite – 5 days/week)

Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a high-volume environment in Westchester County, NY. This role requires full-time onsite presence and will run through February 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume, weekly 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
• Process vendor payments accurately and efficiently
• Handle reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies or disputes
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and address inquiries in a timely manner
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience with 3-way match, payment processing, and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and vendor management experience
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Accounts receivable experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, including spreadsheet creation, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables
• Associate’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
