Job Description The Bodine Cancer Center at Jefferson Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist for a Per Diem position. This role provides coverage and clinical support for our team, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining high-quality standards in patient treatment and safety. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality radiation oncology care to inpatients and outpatients on a per diem basis Interpret diagnostic imaging and develop comprehensive treatment plans Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists Participate in tumor boards and clinical rounds as needed Provide clinical oversight and supervision to support staff Maintain timely and accurate medical records in the EMR system (EPIC) Comply with all institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Qualifications: MD or DO with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology Current Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience in academic or high-volume clinical setting preferred Familiarity with advanced radiation techniques (IMRT, SBRT, IGRT, etc.) Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills Schedule: Per diem/on-call basis Flexible scheduling; may include weekdays and occasional weekends Why Jefferson?
