Job Description
The Bodine Cancer Center at Jefferson Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist for a Per Diem position. This role provides coverage and clinical support for our team, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining high-quality standards in patient treatment and safety.

Job Description
The Bodine Cancer Center at Jefferson Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist for a Per Diem position. This role provides coverage and clinical support for our team, ensuring continuity of care and maintaining high-quality standards in patient treatment and safety.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality radiation oncology care to inpatients and outpatients on a per diem basis
- Interpret diagnostic imaging and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncologists, surgeons, physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists
- Participate in tumor boards and clinical rounds as needed
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision to support staff
- Maintain timely and accurate medical records in the EMR system (EPIC)
- Comply with all institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
- Current Pennsylvania medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience in academic or high-volume clinical setting preferred
- Familiarity with advanced radiation techniques (IMRT, SBRT, IGRT, etc.)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Per diem/on-call basis
- Flexible scheduling; may include weekdays and occasional weekends
