What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stamping Coordinator position at Jefferson Southern Job Board?
Role and Responsibilities:
- Supervise team leaders, technicians, and/or production associates of the stamping department.
- Assist with managing SQCDM activities, improving and stabilizing key areas and 5-S.
- Assist production floor, manpower, equipment, quality, productivity, associate, and safety issues.
- Administer policy and safety procedures with all stamping associates.
- Assign jobs to associates and related training.
- Assist with reviewing and prioritizing equipment maintenance, quality and production issues.
- Coordinate activities with opposite shift production.
- Manage shift operations of Stamping Department, including but not limited to: stamping team leader, production associates and die maintenance associates.
- Manage the stamping presses to execute the production schedule in an effort to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Develop and generate reports pertaining to results and activities within the area of responsibility.
- Continually strive to improve the levels of safety, quality, productivity and 5S within the department.
- Work with all departments and levels to meet the common goals of the organization.
- Participate in daily and weekly production and management meetings.
- Other duties as required by Management.
Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree or Equivalent Experience
- ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Implementation Experience
- High Volume Metal Stamping Experience
- Lean Manufacturing/JIT Environment Experience
- Automotive Industry Experience Preferred
- 3-5 Years of Management Experience
