What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stamping Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift position at Jefferson Southern Job Board?
Role and Responsibilities:
- Follow all JSC rules and procedures.
- Follow all safety policies.
- Perform 5S activities.
- Respond to production D/T calls immediately and counter measure effectively.
- Monitor lines to identify items that may cause downtime.
- Perform Root cause analysis on top D/T items and implement countermeasures.
- Monitor lines to ensure countermeasures are effective.
- Identify needed spare parts.
- Identify critical spare parts as needed.
- Perform PM tasks as scheduled. Repair any defects. Identify areas for improvement.
- Perform Root Cause analysis for any quality related incident and provide countermeasure.
- Support engineering with new equipment setup trials.
- Communicate existing equipment failures with Team Leader and Assistant Manager.
- Support QA during Quality incident investigation and countermeasure.
- Perform cost reduction activities to reduce overall operating costs.
- PLC experience
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree (AS) from an accredited Technical School; or one to two years of related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
