Die Maintenance Team Leader-3rd Shift

Role and Responsibilities:

• Allocate daily work and assign job functions to associates
• Provide on-the-job training to associates
• Ensure that associates perform their job functions in accordance to work instructions
• Ensure that associates fulfill daily job requirements
• Ensure that documents and records are properly completed
• Ensure that associates follow all safety standards and procedures
• Motivate associates positively and effectively
• Provide verbal counseling to associates when necessary, and maintain documentation of counseling
• Communicate effectively with associates and management
• Conduct daily operations and check the progress in assigned section

• Report plan vs. actual to immediate supervisor on a daily basis

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2 Year degree in machine tool technology or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance or tool room experience.
• Welding experience highly desirable.
• Prior knowledge of production processes preferred.
