Job Summary:
The HVAC Filter Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, with a primary focus on replacing air filters, cleaning HVAC components, and assisting HVAC mechanics in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable building environmental systems. The technician helps ensure proper indoor air quality and supports compliance with healthcare, safety, and regulatory standards.
HVAC Filter Technician Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- This is a safety sensitive position. *

Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, and power tools.
- Basic computer skills for work order documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills when working in occupied areas

Preferred Requirements:
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and airflow principles.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to safely lift and install air filters of various sizes.
- Ability to read maintenance schedules and equipment labels.
- One year of maintenance or HVAC-related experience preferred
