This is an Entry Level position to provide administrative support in all areas of Human Resources including recruiting, employee assistance, recordkeeping compliance, training of new employees, and special projects while maintaining a workplace environment consistent with the values and mission outlined by the executive leadership of Jefferson Crest, LLC
Job Requirements
· High School Degree or GED equivalent.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
· Ability to effectively communicate company policies and procedures.
· Strong public speaking and oral presentation skills
· Excellent organization and time management skills
· Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to employee's various learning needs.
· Ability to always respect and maintain the confidentiality of the Human Resources department.
· Above average communication skills that maintain a Positive professional image under pressure.
· Computer literate with experience in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
· Working knowledge of basic principles and practices of HR. Above average people skills.
Job Duties
· Conduct New Employee orientation, development, and training sessions.
· Effectively communicate company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. Must be familiar with DHS Chapter 83 Regulations
· Effectively instruct new and current employees per DHS 83.25 Continuing Education (each residential care staff shall receive at least 15 hours per calendar year of continuing education) to ensure compliance with the regulation.
· Preparing and maintaining all necessary forms for New Hire Orientations and ensuring all items are complete per the New Hire Checklist.
· Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
· Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
· Provides clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department
· Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information.
· Assist in planning, managing, and communicating special projects and employee events. This may include employee recognition, training, employee wellness, Employee Appreciation Week, Christmas Party, Annual Picnic, etc.
