What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technologist position at Jefferson Community Health Center?
Jefferson Community Health & Life has a full-time or part-time position open for a Radiology Technologist.
HOURS:
Department hours (M/T/W/TH/F): 7:00am - 5:00pm -- shifts either 7am - 4pm OR 8am - 5pm
On-Call Rotating between staff.
Weekday Call (M/T/W/TH): 5:00pm - 7:00am
Weekend Call: Friday 5:00pm through Monday 7:00am
Work schedule: Full time 36 hours per week
Must be able to take call - nights, weekends, and holidays. Required to participate in on-call rotations and must be able to respond and report to the facility within 30 minutes when on-call.
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides expert diagnostic radiological imaging procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients, physicians and customers in and outside the Radiology Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* ARRT Registered or registry eligible
* Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program
* Nebraska License for Medical Radiographer
* Willing to cross train in CT, required.
* Certification in Ultrasound, Mammography or other modules a plus.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently under normal and emergency circumstances.
