What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gardenside LTC - Nurse Aide, Evening or Night shift position at Jefferson Community Health Center?
JCH&L Gardenside LTC is looking for a Full-time CNA or CNA/MA.
Gardenside LTC currently has 2 positions open:
Evening Shift: Hours 40 hours per week, 1:45pm - 10:15pm, (5) 8 hour shifts per week
Night Shift: Hours 36 hours per week, 5:45pm - 6:15am, (3) 12 hour shifts per week
Both positions require every-other weekend and rotating holidays.
Full-time Evening shift available.
The CNA provides personal resident care in cooperation with other care providers to meet the needs of our residents. Contributes to the completion of the comprehensive assessment and care plan for each resident and provides cares in accordance with the individualized plan of care. Performs duties in such a way to enhance teamwork and professionalism. Communicates effectively with other care providers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Answers call lights, promptly
* Completes ADL, work sheet, turn sheet and restraint sheet every shift.
* Reports all changes in the residents condition.
* Assist residents with all aspects of their daily living needs.
* Performs all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, as instructed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current Certified Nurse Aide certification from the State of Nebraska or willing to obtain certification.
* CPR certified or able to get certification
* Resident focused
* Team player
