JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mail Center Specialist to support daily mail operations and ensure timely, accurate delivery of internal and external correspondence. This role plays a key part in keeping communication flowing smoothly across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare outgoing mail, including metering, labeling, and documentation.
- Coordinate courier pickups and deliveries (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS).
- Maintain accurate mail logs and tracking systems.
- Assist with shipping tasks, including packaging and labeling items.
- Monitor inventory of mailroom supplies and reorder as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive materials.
- Scan documents into document management system.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong analytical skills and critical reasoning.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Highly organized and meticulous.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Flexibility to perform varying work activities to meet business needs.
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. multiple times per day.
- Physical abilities include sitting, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
- Ability to support change and recommend process improvements.
