The Opportunity

Jefferson Capital is seeking a high-impact Business Development professional to drive new client partnership growth in existing and new market verticals. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities and new client relationships while working with cross functional teams to develop and deliver compliant, value-driven solutions that enhance client performance and profitability. Candidates should excel in fast-paced environments, apply strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making, with strong relationship development, negotiation, and presentation skills. Key outcomes will include new client acquisition, formation of long-term client relationships and expanding services offered to existing client partners. This role directly shapes how creditors (our clients) and stakeholders perceive Jefferson Capital and the value of our services.

Executive Relationship Management: Represent the company as a thought leader at the executive level. You will lead high-impact presentations and onsite consultations, navigating complex sales procurement and due diligence cycles with C-suite stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with internal stakeholders and executive teams to institutionalize "best-in-class" responses for due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and post-sale audits. You ensure our brand is synonymous with compliance, transparency, and professional excellence.

Data-Driven Growth: Leverage Salesforce.com and advanced sales analytics to track pipeline health, forecast deployment accuracy, and provide the executive team with actionable insights into market trends and competitor movement.
