Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Golden, CO. The Temporary Attorney - Title IX and Civil Rights will handle various duties, including providing legal advice, conducting research, and negotiating related to Title IX and civil rights matters. The work will include reviewing, investigating, and evaluating discrimination complaints filed by or on behalf of students.
Qualifications
- A passion for public education and students
- Proficiency in Law NEWLY LICENSED ATTORNEYS WELCOME
- Experience in providing legal advice and conducting legal research
- Strong investigation and factfinding skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in handling Title IX and civil rights cases is a plus
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado
