SUMMARY Provide leadership in planning and managing the successful implementation of high quality instructional materials and practices in K-12 ELA, Social Studies, and Library Sciences; including the Expanded Academic Learning supports necessary for effective tier 2 interventions including Credit Recovery. Facilitate data-driven decision-making by guiding analysis of student performance monitoring; district and school progress; and identifying areas for targeted improvement. Collaborate with internal departments and diverse stakeholders to support inclusive practices; oversee key programs and initiatives; and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal requirements. Advance the district's instructional vision and strategic goals; ensure equitable access to high-quality learning experiences and continuous improvement for all students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate the alignment and implementation of high-quality core and supplemental instructional resources across all tiers.
Provide leadership and coaching to principals, instructional staff, and content specialists to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
Deliver professional development and technical assistance to schools; collaborate with building principals to address and resolve concerns involving parents, students, staff, and the community.
Facilitate data analysis to advance district and school improvement goals; support ongoing monitoring of performance, identifying trends, instructional gaps, and targeted areas for improvement.
Coordinate curriculum review and adoption cycles, ensuring vertical and horizontal alignment across grade levels and content areas.
Lead the coordination and supervision of Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSAs) and coordinators within Teaching and Learning.
Collaborate with departments such as Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Education, Special Education, and Assessment and Research to support differentiated instruction and inclusive practices.
Oversee Tier 2 programs (e.g., credit recovery), ensue alignment with district priorities and initiatives.
Coordinate staff learning and professional development initiatives aligned to departmental priorities.
Support the development and management of departmental budgets.
Access, maintain, and submit reports in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE 5 years as a successful licensed classroom teacher, instructional coach or related career. Minimum of one year experience in a school-based administrative leadership role. Secondary experience preferred.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid Colorado Department of Education Administrator or Principal licensure required.
Salary : $103,000 - $124,000
