Production Manager For Custom Steel Fabrication Company

Join a dynamic welding fabrication company as a Project Manager, where you will lead and oversee building of stainless and carbon steel skids for tight aerospace specifications from inception to completion. As a key driver of project success, you will utilize your management expertise to navigate specification requirements, control budgets, and uphold safety standards across all phases of construction. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of welding fabrication and construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using project management software to coordinate all phases of construction activities.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost control measures to maximize profitability.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
• Manage contract negotiations, change orders, and procurement processes while ensuring adherence to project specifications
• Supervise project teams on-site by managing schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow through effective time management.
• Work closely with the management to plan strategy for process improvements

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing steel fabrication projects preferably in aerospace industry
• Strong knowledge of specification standards, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements within the industry.
• Proficiency in project management software
• Skilled in reading blueprints
• Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules
• Excellent cost management skills
• Effective leadership skills in managing teams on-site and coordinating multiple stakeholders across complex projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, procurement processes
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA safety certification or PMP (Project Management Professional) are desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
