The Project Controls Specialist will support project managers by tracking budgets, monitoring schedules, and ensuring accurate project reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead Project Controller in the following:
- Develop and maintain project cost reports, schedules, and forecasts.
- Track budgets, expenses, and commitments to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Utilize Excel to compile, analyze, and present project data.
- Support project managers with financial and progress reporting.
- Identify and communicate potential issues affecting budget or schedule.
- Maintain organized and accurate project documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 10 years of experience in project controls, accounting, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Familiarity with accounting principles and cost tracking is beneficial but not necessary.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
