JED Transportation has an immediate opening for a full time experienced BUS/DIESEL MECHANIC with 15 plus years of diagnostic experience. This position requires troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate must work with minimal supervision and perform independent tasks based on general direction from the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Strong Diagnostic, Electrical and A/C skills
• Possess the recommended minimum hand tools
• CDL Class B license with air brakes and passenger endorsement preferred
• ASE certification
• Familiar with Cummins Insite, Detroit Diesel and Allison software a plus.
  
  

Experience Required

• Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
  
  

FULL TIME

Schedule

8 hour shift. Some weekends required. Flexible hours are possible.

Pay

$30-$40 / hour
