Job Summary: JEC Miller, Inc. is looking for a Designated Care Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will oversee the care and support of 2-4 individuals living in a residential home. You’ll work closely with our Designated Managers to ensure high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with 245D regulations. Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within a disability services program
- Minimum of 3 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Minimum of 2 years working with children with disabilities (if CFC)
- Must meet ONE of the following education requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field 1 year of full-time direct care experience
- Associate degree in a human services-related field 2 years of full-time direct care experience
- Diploma in a human services-related field 3 years of full-time direct care experience
- Must be able to work evening shifts:
- 1 pm - 9 pm
- 2 pm - 10 pm
- 3 pm - 11 pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure 245D compliance and maintain a strong understanding of licensing requirements
- Support, coach, and mentor DSPs
- Review and address incident reports to ensure safety and compliance
- Advocate for individuals’ rights and ensure their voices are heard
- Evaluate service quality and satisfaction for individuals served, their families, and case managers
- Provide staff training and development to ensure competency and compliance
- Implement corrective actions as needed and oversee program improvements
