Duties
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple locations.
- Troubleshoot software problems including operating systems like Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Manage computer hardware components such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Configure and support computer networking equipment including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and network security measures like Meraki devices.
- Assist with the deployment and management of enterprise tools such as SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), Active Directory, GPO (Group Policy Objects), BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira, and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Support IT infrastructure maintenance by monitoring network performance, performing routine updates, and documenting configurations using tools like Help Desk ticketing systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to diagnose issues accurately and provide clear guidance on resolutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical support roles with a strong understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and network administration.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11/Server), macOS, and Linux distributions.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN configuration, firewall security (including Meraki solutions), and TCP troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise management tools like SCCM, Active Directory, GPOs, BMC Remedy or ServiceNow ticketing systems.
- Ability to perform desktop support tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of technical issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
