Duties
- Supervise and support FOH staff to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring guest needs are met promptly and professionally
- Manage Toast POS (Point of Sale) system for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling
- Oversee serving operations during shifts, including food and beverage delivery, table management, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained
- Handle cash transactions with precision using retail math skills and basic math to perform server cash-outs at shift end
- Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house environment that adheres to food safety regulations and hospitality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments with a focus on customer service excellence
- Experience with Toast POS system for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle the waitlist seamlessly during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety - Serve Safe certification preferred
- Previous restaurant experience required
- Ability to perform retail math and cash handling accurately in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication skills to lead a team effectively and interact positively with guests
- Basic math skills for order calculations and cash balancing; proficiency in hospitality or food industry standards is preferred
