- Operate, maintain, or support hot mix asphalt paving operations
- Assist with start-up, shutdown, and daily production activities
- Monitor mix quality, temperatures, and production rates
- Work closely with plant operators, foremen, truck drivers, and paving crews
- Load trucks, manage material flow, and ensure proper delivery timing
- Perform routine maintenance, cleanup, and troubleshooting of equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and jobsite protocols
- Support paving operations including screed, roller, lute, and labor positions as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hot mix asphalt paving operations
- Understanding of asphalt materials, equipment, and processes
- Ability to work long hours, nights, weekends, and in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to cross-train and assist in multiple roles
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
