Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Superintendent role located in Sarasota, FL. The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day construction site operations, manage schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, supervising construction teams, maintaining site documentation, and ensuring the quality and integrity of construction work. Effective communication with project managers, clients, and team members is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee construction teams and subcontractors.
- Proven ability to review and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and project plans.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring projects meet deadlines and financial targets.
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring a safe work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with construction management software and standard office tools.
- Professional experience in commercial, residential, or specialty construction projects; Florida experience is preferred.
