About The Team
You'll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you'll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.
This internship will be based in our Human Resources team. The team works across US Logistics & Supply Chain Operations supporting business leaders to deliver a quality colleague experience.
What You'll Do
This internship provides hands-on experience in full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment, supporting 200–250 employees across multiple New Jersey sites.
- Act as the primary HR support for 2–3 warehouses in New Jersey, shadowing the HR lead and supporting 200–250 employees.
- Assist in managing full-cycle HR processes, including recruitment administration, onboarding, and documentation for performance management and offboarding.
- Review and reconcile employee timecards, ensuring accurate attendance tracking and related compliance matters.
- Support the handling of employee relations issues and conflict resolution by documenting investigations in partnership with leadership.
- Provide initial HR guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and basic compliance with federal and state regulations.
About You
- Graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; prior internship or part-time experience in HR is a plus.
- Fluent Mandarin is a must
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task completion.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); willingness to learn HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems.
- Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
