The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, particularly in assisted living and nursing home environments. The Administrator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, assessments of potential clients and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Manage staff performance, providing supervision, training, and support to ensure high standards of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident services and support.
- Maintain accurate records related to resident care, and medication administration.
- Foster a positive environment that promotes resident engagement and well-being.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by residents or their families promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
- Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Experience in memory care or long-term care environments is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with previous management or supervisory experience required.
- Familiarity with operations management principles and practices in healthcare settings is beneficial.
- Knowledge of social work principles related to senior care is an asset.
- Experience in home & community care or group home settings will be considered an advantage.
