Job Summary: We are seeking an Inside Sales professional to join our team onsite in the Denver area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling electrical products and solutions to customers primarily over the phone and through email, while serving as a technical liaison and manufacturer representative.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the product or technical product space
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly convey information and product details
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of electrical products and industry trends
- Technical aptitude for interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and bills of material
- Analytical skills to extract and synthesize relevant information from complex technical documentation
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to potential customers to present electrical products and solutions
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and negotiate pricing
- Maintain and update customer database in CRM software
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product offerings
- Provide excellent customer service before and after the sale
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal conversations and written correspondence (emails, quotes, proposals)
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally
- Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and bills of material to identify customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Extract critical information from project documentation to ensure accurate product selection and pricing
- Serve as the primary point of contact and inside sales representative for assigned manufacturers
- Maintain ongoing relationships with manufacturer partners, serving as their internal advocate and liaison
- Communicate new product launches, pricing updates, and strategic initiatives from manufacturers to internal sales team
- Monitor and report on manufacturer performance, market positioning, and competitive landscape
- Coordinate with manufacturers on training opportunities, promotional campaigns, and sales support materials
