We are seeking an experienced, professional superintendent who is aligned with our values to join our team.
Our Custom Home Superintendent will be responsible for managing a select number of homes and will be directly responsible for all facets of custom home construction including:
- Jobsite Construction Management
- Project scheduling, both for the duration of the project as well as daily (CoConstruct)
- Gathering bids from subcontractors and suppliers specific to job needs
- Bid reviews for accuracy based on home design
- Onsite sub-contractor supervision, ensuring JD Construction & Development, Inc. standards are met throughout every trade
- Maintaining positive supplier communication and partnership
- Maintaining a clean jobsite on a daily basis
- Scheduling and passing inspections
- Professional homeowner interface management through CoConstruct
- Weekly homeowner updates through CoConstruct
- Completion of punch lists at the end of each build
- Overall customer satisfaction
Qualifications/Skills
- High School Diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong leadership, communication (both written and verbal), and management skills
- Proficient in Excel and CoConstruct preferred
- Background in custom home building preferred (knowledge of building process, standards and building codes)
- Must be able to read and understand architectural plans
- Only candidates with a minimum of 2 years of custom home experience will be considered
