Duties
- Manage day-to-day office operations, correspondence, and supply management to keep the workplace running seamlessly
- Handle accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Perform general ledger accounting to ensure financial data accuracy in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Prepare journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations with attention to detail and accuracy
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and government reporting requirements
- Answering phones, filing taxes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with familiarity in corporate or non-profit accounting environments
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices is highly desirable
- Ability to perform account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation accurately
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- 10 key typing skills for data entry accuracy and speed
- Experience with accounts payable processes and payroll management is preferred
- Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaboration across teams
- 30 Hours Minimum
