What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Manager position at JCW Group?
I’m currently partnering with a growing investment platform looking to hire a Tax Manager to their team. This opportunity sits at the center of fund tax reporting and offers exposure across a range of strategies, including private equity and credit. You will work closely with senior leadership, fund teams, and external advisors on complex tax matters impacting both the funds and their investors.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing K-1s, 1065s, and investor reporting
- Managing fund-level tax compliance across multiple strategies
- Partnering with external advisors and auditors on technical matters
- Supporting tax structuring, transactions, and ongoing portfolio activity
- Acting as a resource for investor-related tax inquiries
Ideal background:
- 6 years of experience (Big Four or asset management preferred)
- Strong partnership tax / Subchapter K knowledge
- Experience with investment funds (PE, credit, real estate)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
