Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid (3 days in office required)
About the Company
We are working with a reputable global insurance firm with a strong track record of stability and growth. The organization operates across a range of complex markets and is known for its collaborative culture and high-caliber teams. The tax team is seeking to add a new member as part of its ongoing succession planning and team build-out. This position will report directly to the Head of Tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Support corporate tax provision and reporting processes
- Assist with federal and international tax matters
- Draft and review technical tax analyses and documentation
- Partner with the Head of Tax, Tax Manager, and finance colleagues on compliance and planning initiatives
- Coordinate with external advisors as needed
- Contribute to special projects across the tax function
Qualifications
- CPA strongly preferred
- 4–7 years of relevant tax experience (Big 4 or in-house)
- Strong background in corporate tax compliance and provisions
- International tax exposure highly valued
- Strong technical and communication skills; able to interact with senior leadership
- Highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
