We're helping a growing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in Westchester County hire a Senior Portfolio Specialist. This is a newly created position due to growth, working closely with the firm's CIO on portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment research, and manager selection across traditional and alternative asset classes.

The position will involve active participation in investment decisions and investment committee discussions, with a focus on ETFs, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative investments including private equity.

Candidates must have:

• CFA designation (required).
• 5 years of investment management or portfolio management experience within wealth management.
• Direct experience with asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment research.
• Experience conducting due diligence on investment funds, external managers, and/or alternative investments.
• Experience participating in investment committee discussions and contributing to investment decisions.

Highly desired:

• Experience working within an RIA, multi-family office, or private wealth management firm.
• Familiarity with investment research and portfolio management platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Morningstar Direct, or Tamarac.
• Exposure to private equity and other alternative investment strategies.

Please note: This is an investment management position, not a financial advisory or client relationship management role. Candidates should have hands-on experience with asset allocation and fund/manager selection, rather than exclusively individual stock picking.

The position is full-time, onsite five days per week in White Plains, NY, with a base salary of $150,000–$200,000.
