What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Commercial Surety Underwriter position at JCW Group?
JCW is currently working with a specialty insurance company looking to grow their commercial surety team. They’re looking to add high level commercial surety underwriters to essentially lead and continue building out this book of business. As a regional commercial surety underwriter you will be working closely with the VP of surety to market and have the opportunity to build out a team as the book of business grows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan in order to expand their surety portfolio
- Establish and maintain broker relationships
- Hire, develop, and train other team members in your region
Requirements
- 10 years of commercial surety underwriting
- Broker/agent relationships
- Travel up to 30%
